I'm still alive, planning to respond to some comments and write an introduction post (since I liked the idea when I saw it :D)... It seems I'm always way behind on things. However, I'm currently feeling like I'm catching up (or getting rid of "old" things that had taken up my attention without it really interesting me any more)
Tomorrow will be another busy day cutting a Making Of for university. Due on Tuesday. I'm nearly done though and I'm confident that it'll work out with filming one more scene (again - this time with the finished project the Making Of is about) and fixing a couple of things I destroyed in my haste to catch a train last Friday (using the Software at university - so no work during the weekend)
I planned to do three things this weekend: Make icons (I didn't finish all open contests - I'll do that one the train ride), collect more information on the two topics for my Bachelor thesis I promised to make a decision on by Tuesday and check out the Making Of and make a list of what needs to be done.
Instead of finishing any of the three I made a random decision to sort some of my school stuff I dumped in the attic when I graduated (or any time during the two years before that) and while I kept about half of the stuff (in my room) to be looked at a second time I threw away a lot. I also was reminded of my inability to keep a folder for any of my classes.
ANYWAY, the actual reason for this post. I'm planning on doing some CSS work again for IJ/LJ Layouts. Trying to figure out what is what. I did it last year(?) for one default layout (one result: dw_fest @IJ) and I'm feeling like trying my hand on a different one this time. Are there any suggestions?
(Now I better run and get some socks, pack the laptop and get into the car so I can catch my train)
