I gather that I was gone for quite some time.

Y-Yes... I must admit, I am surprised to see you back. But not displeased.

It's strange; from my perspective, I just spoke with you the other day.

Much has happened since then. We recently suffered another horrific "event" of sorts... but more importantly, we've learned more about our captivity.

Nothing along the lines of a way out, I assume.

I fear not. We are prisoners still.

The line between a prison and a real world is subtle.

Even should I return to Erion, a host of challenges await me. Yet even still, I long for it; no matter how similar they may be at times, I will take the real world over this madhouse in a heartbeat.

I suppose for most, their true home would be something worth fighting to return to. For me, one place is much like another.

I can imagine the same would bode true for me, were I immortal... But truly, is there no place you can call home?
