I pledge allegiance what the fuck?
This really rather pisses me off.
How dare anyone suggest this? Given the amount of people in the UK from foreign backgrounds. Allegiance is earned not forced.
I want my (hypothetical at the moment) kids to be proud of being both Dutch and English. I want them to be proud of their heritage and proud of their countries but only if they WANT to be, not because they are forced to be.
What UTTER UTTER BULLSHIT.
