Well, that's that. I think I'm done with Castlevania : Order of Ecclesia with the emulator! Finished the game once with both characters! I think I'm either getting better at reading patterns or realising broken stuff in the game when I see it. I do have a couple of minor complaints, though.
Firstly, they did something strange with the system. Your attacks all cost MP, weapon attacks and spell attacks, and it drains at a rapid rate. However, MP regenerates alarmingly fast when you're not attacking. So basically, your attacks cost you time rather than anything else. Now that's fine, but the thing is, this kinda make weapon attacks a bit pointless. Why would I use a weapon when I could get better range and damage out of spells? Sure they cost more MP, but as mentioned earlier, it just costs time, really. And I don't think there are many enemies that'll give you an opening to use weak attacks continuously, so you're better of using the more damaging ones!
The boss fights are in fact kinda challening in this game, but I didn't find them too hard.... it's probably just me and a few others. The last two bosses wern't as hard as they could've been, however.
Regardless of this, I'm still going to get it eventually when I have a DS. XD It's no doubt a good game, just a little unbalanced... BUT.. there's always stuff you can do to challenge yourself! So it doesn't matter too much!
Wait, why am I posting here, will anyone who actually plays this game read this? XD
In other news, I watched Gundam 00 Season 2 episode 5 (what a mouthful!) today. Just now. And it's a kinda depressing episode. I mean, it's just anime, it's not even real, but somehow it still ends up making you feel sad. After watching Gundam SEED, I can honestly say that this is a lot better. I guess since they turned the "good guys" into a semi-terrorist like organisation, the way they depict the plot has to change from their usual "War between Earth and Space". I guess even the war on terror in the real world has affected anime in some ways.
