i went to a slam poetry thing last night with four of the def poets from broadway... they were amazing! one of them reminded me of nick klemp with a long goatee and a hat. his name was mike mcgee. i wish i had speech kids to share it with!
in other news... i <3 being graduated and living in new orleans... wednesday nickie and i went to a cowboy mouth show in lafayette square and tonight we're going to go see the greatest story ever told... it's about adam and steve. it's so wonderful to not have homework. and i can spend my nights watching my l-word dvds from netflix! yay!
today i have the day off because margarita has the day off, so nickie and i are sitting in a coffee shop in the quarter. it makes me happy... ok, now i need to stop procrastinating so i can write an abstract. jim wants me to present a chapter of my thesis at this conference in november... now i just need to write a cool abstract so that they'll want me.
