ABOUT KATRINA WARRIORS
A newly forming alliance, Katrina Warriors dedicate themselves to raising awareness and generating funds to end violence against women and girls in post-Katrina Greater New Orleans.
The event on May 21 is free. Donations are welcome. Contributions by check should be made out to the "Metropolitan Battered Women's Program" (Memo: Katrina Warriors) and mailed to: Katrina Warriors, c/o Bess Carrick, 706 Lowerline Street, New Orleans, LA 70118. All donors by check will receive an acknowledgment of their tax-deductible contributions. Funds raised by Katrina Warriors events will benefit member organizations of the New Orleans Regional Alliance Against Abuse (NORAAA).
