today i got an alert from my credit card company that > 1000$ had been charged to my account. i checked and 2024.00$ had been charged to my account THREE TIMES! from Glass Alchemy, ltd. (i had a fraudulent charge a couple of weeks ago: 0.45$ from the canadian cancer society. i disputed it and they credited it back to my account in an expression

You're correct. Check those statements. When someone gets hold of a credit card number, they often do a series of "test" charges, so small you might not notice otherwise. If the test charges work, they'll move on to something big. Yikes!
