argh!
today i got an alert from my credit card company that > 1000$ had been charged to my account. i checked and 2024.00$ had been charged to my account THREE TIMES! from Glass Alchemy, ltd. (i had a fraudulent charge a couple of weeks ago: 0.45$ from the canadian cancer society. i disputed it and they credited it back to my account in an expression of "good will". which is to say, they didn't bother to do any investigating into who had my account number and was using it.) so i called the number on the back and they said they'd give me a whole new account number and send a new card in the mail and dispute the charges and i shouldn't pay anything that i didn't charge. moral of the story: watch your credit card statements like a hawk!
