My 2006 Top 10 Music Videos
Okay, I've been planning to do this for awhile now, so here are my Top 10 Music Video Picks of 2006! Also, a little disclaimer: these aren't my favourite songs, just my favourite videos. I have way more than this, but I tried to pick pretty different styles of music/videos so they could 'represent'. Enjoy! If, in fact, anyone cares to watch these at all.

Placebo - Meds
Good song. Great video. I love the pop can.
Klaxons - Golden Skans
Boys in ribbons and glitter (but not in a girly way). I love the first half of this video. Very unusual. But Klaxons are always weird. At least it's not as weird as their "Magick" video.
Sebastian Tellier - La Ritournelle
Kind of a neat circular story. I love the hints you see of the bracelet throughout the video.
iLiKETRAiNS - Terra Nova
Wow. I was actually moved by a music video. With dolls and little styrofoam chunks.
The Rapture - Wayuh
I definitely need old-school-Batman-style special effects. And a cape. Very retro. :)
Goodshoes - All In My Head
A really cute video. I love the bored looks on their faces through the whole video while they're doing these weird stunts.
The Maccabees - First Love
Realy neat way of showing different people coping with lost love.
The Raconteurs - Hands
I like the School for Deaf Girls.
I Love You But I've Chosen Darkness - The Owl
I find this incredibly creepy, but I can't get the pictures out of my head.
Sigur Ros - Saeglopur
This video is beautiful. The camera shots at the end, especially the dripping water, are gorgeous. The progression from wistful to amazed to frightened to hopeless... I ache when I watch it.

Goose - British Mode
Wheee! They twist around. There usually isn't enough of that happening in music videos.
The Exit - Don't Push
I love doors. I love the way they look and move. There are quite a few doors in this video, and it's excellent.
