Can we skip 2016???
Sorry I have not been on recently, 2016 is stacking up to be a really crappy year so far and it is only the 16th!! Many of you know that I was having issues with my furnace, it went out and I thought we had gotten it all fixed up, but oh NO, NO, NO; it is now completely out of comission.... so there goes my saving's or what littel I had as saving's to help get a replacement. It is times like this that I wish I lived somewhere in the tropics!!
Then over the last 10 days or so I have been sicker than a dog, bronchitis working its way towards pnuemonia, so on lots of antibiotics and sleeping a lot. Went back to the Dr's yesterday because my throat was still killing me, found out I have strep!! I mean, I guess if I was going to get sick this year I may as well get it all at once and get it over with!!
I guess in the plus side I have been getting lots and lots of sleep, which I know I seriously need, plus I have not felt like doing much of anything other than that, being sick always makes me tired, but then again so does the antibiotics (no idea why... they should make me feel better, but I always feel yucky while taking them)
I also figure I was exposed while I was at work, since I work at a kiddies hospital..... so with me being sick I have been off of work which means it has blown my OT that I was trying to accumulate for my upcoming cons, but the money that I have been able to make extra is now going towards the new furnace I need.
Then to top it all off, on Wednesday I discovered that my upright freezer, which I just filled before the holidays was out and everything on the inside was thawed and had to be thrown away!
Can't win for anything!!
So I had to cancel the cons I was going to this spring and sell all my tickets...... Right now I would have been in Jacksonville, FLA for the con but NOPE, REAL LIFE has gotten in the way!!
Can I just say I just I quit! I no longer want to ADULT!!!
Ok enough of me complaining, just wanted to let everyone know that I am alive, just sick and sleeping a lot!!
I promise to be back to my old self soon!
