Yeah, I know. But this is on an entirely different topic and just happened.

So, for those of you who don't know, I work at a private club in Manhattan. Very elite and VERY expensive, we pride ourselves on spoiling our members rotten. Well, tonight we were supposed to have a screening of Borat that was cancelled due to a mechanical issue. The projector got stuck in the ceiling. I know.

Anyway, it was my job to call all the members who were on the list to come tonight (there were only three) and tell them that the screenings were cancelled. Most of them took it in stride, but one, who happens to be one of our VIP (read: difficult) members, was a little upset. They were going to take their sons to the screening and they had a whole evening planned around Borat. Again, I know.

We were laughing about it when I hung up, saying that she could just rent the movie and watch it at home. I jokingly said, "Look, I'll even bring it to you!"

Chris (my boss) stopped laughing and said, "Actually..."

So what did I do? I took the DVD and got on a bus and took it to her apartment building on 74th and Park Avenue (for those of you unfamiliar with Manhattan geography, that's Rich People Ville) so she could watch it with her family in her living room at her leisure.

It never ceases to amaze me how spoiled the wealthy are.

However, I did get a paid field trip and some fresh air out of it. AND Chris is giving me credit for coming up with the idea.
