Now, I might be lacking in direction, but never let it be said that I've got no hustle.

January 8: Left my shitty research job very abruptly, right before everyone returned from winter break.
March 11: Started the retail job at the bead store.
April (4?): Started hosting.
May (?): Started waitressing.
July 5: Started my new community outreach housing job. Am still waitressing/hosting on evenings and weekends.
August 19: Was able to drop $300 in one week to vigorously pay down my credit card, which has been largely languishing on minimum payments since I first got screwed over in December 2009. BOOM.

Due to some serious derp on HUD's part--and masochism on mine--I'm working 70+ hour weeks but oh my cylon god, I am relishing the financial stabilty. Even better (at least from the financial viewpoint), I don't have any free time to spend the money I make! I am absolutely goddamn exhausted, but overall I feel very positive about the fact that I'm (mostly) doing this for myself. Hopefully, I will have enough money to afford a decent little vacation come mid-October, when the HUD program madness comes to a stop.
