Moving...

Some amazingly wonderful people came by on Sunday and helped tidy the house, sort fabric, and move stuff to the new apartment! Around 10 one of my dear friends came by and loaded a dozen boxes of books plus a few other assorted boxes and moved them over to the new place while I tried to get organized for the rest of the day of fabric-sorting

The cats seem mildly oblivious to the chaos. Rosie is finding new things to sniff, all of them seem to be appreciating all the BOXES! And Cinder occasionally attempts to go outside though has been thwarted thusfar.

They'll move over most likely on Sept 17 with the rest of the stuff. We'll do washer/dryer/basement either first or last and they'll spend the majority of the "move-out" in the basement to keep them out from underfoot. Once the movers have everything loaded into the new place I'll return to the old and pack them up for transport.

My two are going to be fine as long as their "stuff" moves with them. For Winkers the only thing that he's really concerned about is whether or not I am there, as I'm the only thing he's really connected to. Cinder hasn't moved before but I'm not really expecting much trouble (other than dealing with her issues about other cats being caged in carriers but I'm almost adjusted to that one) Rosie just got to my place and did OK, so hopefully she'll be ok. Once again, she's bonded with ME not as much the stuff or the place. I'll be there, as will my bed and their couch... Their most important things...
