Still, it will be one of the last few days to spend with her family at the apartment, with her items already moved and- it's just bizarre. The building she grew up in, and then moving so far away-

[He lightly knocks on the already-ajar door, slowly pushing it open as he steps into her room.]

...Hey, sis.

[It's weird. For his entire life, she's lived right here in the room next to his, and now...she's leaving. Of course she'll still be around, living in the same village and all, but it's a big change for him to adjust to. He's always thought of himself as his sister's protector, but he would be lying if he didn't acknowledge that he was dependent on her in return.]

[She'd still have to come back to the village proper for work. Thankfully they did have Noishe, willing to provide transport.

The sound of her brother's voice shakes her momentarily out of those thoughts, as she shakes her head a little and turns away from the glass.]

... Mithos. Everything all right with Mother?

Mom's fine. I just wanted to come see you. [Since you won't live here anymore in a few days. He doesn't say that part, because he doesn't need to.

Crossing the room, he takes note of the absence of personal items. It's like all traces of his sister's years here are being erased, but he doesn't want to think about it like that. Focus on the positive things.]

It's a lot, and it all happened pretty suddenly, didn't it? [Except for the part where you've been together for well over a decade. But they had settled into thinking that it was the normal everyday. This is new.]

[She thinks that it's best to do it quickly. Better to do it before the pain of truly leaving sets in.]
