I find the ways in which E'sere echoes G'thon, or vice versa, whatever, endlessly entertaining. And now I have ideas for our next meeting!

*muttergrumble* See, D'ven, that is how you play chess - no one is felised at the end of it! Aside: /Very/ nice scene, the both of you. I can't help but feel bad for E'sere and Vanya alike.

Thanks to you both for the comments. I tell you, the hardest part about that scene was 'faking' knowing how to play chess. I am hopeless at that game. :P I /should've/ found him a backgammon game. I'd've cleaned house! :) But, it was an interesting scene, and a lot of fun.
