long time no see...

Today I remembered this place. Just been reading through my old entries and some of my long lost buddies'.
Well let's update on where my life is at now!
Me and Dave broke up. I ended things with him in May 2012 after realising his jealousy and control made me fall out of love with him. We ended things very amicably and still spoke every now and again. About 6 months after breaking up, I found out something that changed all that. Turns out he was sleeping with a girl (who is now his girlfriend) while we were still living together. What a shame. Never mind - I'm free of that dickhead now.
I now live in Worthing. I moved in with some complete strangers (risky I know) last summer and they soon became some of my best friends. I lived in that flat for almost a year and it was the most fun I've ever had. I drank a lot, I partied a lot, I made many many friends and finally lived the life I never knew what I was missing when I was with Dave. I'm so happy I got to experience what I now have.
I'm working at a debt collection company (but currently looking for a new job) and doing part time work at a bar. Although I don't really like my day job, working at the bar making cocktails is so much fun. It's hard work on a Saturday night when I have to run around for hours at a time making drinks for people who are smashed, but I love it anyway.
I've been basically single for the last year and a bit. There's been lots of guys and little flings but nothing really stuck.
I'm seeing a guy called Jack at the moment and it's the first time I've taken anyone seriously at all since Dave. We're taking things slow but he's a lot of fun to be around and I'm enjoying what we have. It's nice having someone to make me laugh and have banter with.
I now live in a little 2 bed flat with one of my best friends and we have so much fun. I'm still drinking and partying a bit too much but starting to settle down a bit!
I had an operation last May which helped my back problems but sadly it's run out and I have to get the same surgery again. 28th August and everything will be okay again! Hopefully will be starting fresh and getting a new job after my recovery as it's time to move on from being a debt collector...
Either way; I'm happy, I'm healthy and I'm sure as hell having a lot of fun.
