Pif Magazine
Finally, after repeated attempts, I will have a poem featured in PIF Magazine in the near future! It's a poem called "The Lion Heads", which had undergone many revisions since its initial submission to who-knows-where. But, thanks to many comments by editors, I have revised it and...look!...it has found a good home!

Nightly Excursions
For the past several years, on and off again, I've had dreams of floating (this is different from dreams of flying--which I have had since childhood). As I was watching the sunset today it made me wish I was at the Outer Banks, stepping outside our beachfront house to watch the sun set over the Avon pier. How I wished all days were like that. How I wish for cloudy days...
I've never before in my span of thirty-three years on this plane been so sensitive to the heat. The sun has become enemy number one. Sure, I had Shingles back in April and it seems ever since that I've been feeling worse and worse, inclined to do nothing but lie on the floor with my cold eye mask on my face.
