Rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated...

OK, so, looking back it seems that I haven’t updated the LJ thingy for… ummm…. ever! That means that I have a shit-load of topics I could have updated on, but that would mean that I would be writing till tomorrow and all of you, the good people that have consented to sharing your postings with me, would get pissed off at me even more than some of you are right now.

Hence, I have decided to leave it to you, good people, to decide what parts and aspects of my life you want to hear about. Here’s the list of everything … if you want to hear about any item on it, reply to the post, and I’ll make an entry on that topic… those items not chosen, are probably interesting only to yours truly, and hence will go with him to his grave, destined never to enlighten posterity…

Topics for the classic essay “What I’ve done this summer”

1. The MCAT scores are in, and the verdict is…

2. Summer school, 25 credits in 8 weeks or less… read all about it!

3. My achievement in trying to answer the questions of the universe, such as “How do sex hormones signal puberty?”, “Are bacteria plotting to take over the world?” and “What is that green stuff on the bottom of the beaker, and did it just move?”… (AKA my lab exploits)

4. Applications, applications, applications… med schools suck ass!

5. The combined experience of being hit on by two TAs - a single female and a married male… is my inner queer showing again?

6. Lab “hike”, which included the my boss, my GF, and large amounts of beer, wine, and Thai food… you do the math!

7. Some of my closest friends, such as … well, no names, you know who you are… are gone off to explore the world, leaving ol’ poor me to fend for myself… I miss you guys!

8. The reasons (or rather excuses) as to why I have been neglecting those friends that stuck around… (This item is probably gonna end up being personal emails/phone-calls of apology to the individuals in question)

(more topics to be added shortly)

So, what’d’ya wanna know?

summer, med-schools, past
