the good, the bad and the ugly
-as long as bucky and i are approved we have an apartment in logan square, chicago. it is wonderful, minus it being on the fourth floor of a four floor walk-up. i couldn't be more excited. we had bucky's dad co-sign, so i'm almost positive we will get it. i didn't take pictures, but this time next month you will get a ton(i promise). it is a one bedroom, with a living room, dining room, kitchen and bathroom. we have hardwood floors and three big closets. i have a similar wreathe as the person across the hall, so that has to be good, right? also we have a fire escape outside our kitchen, which is pretty much like a porch, since we are on the top floor.
-our trip to chicago was exhausting but fun. we were able to overcome a top serious problem. bucky's philosophy friend that we stayed with was the nicest guy i have ever met. i had a fake reuben at the chicago diner, and it was ammmazing.
-my mom and i have been fighting about a chicago related issue since i have been home and it could possibly ruin our relationship if it doesn't get cleared up before i leave for chicago(which is in less than a month!) all i know is that i didn't do anything wrong.
-i still don't have my pa certification and i don't have a job lined up but for some reason i'm not freaking out. not sure why?
-work is okay. i love the kids. i have to be in at 6:30 the next few days, so that sucks. i'm pretty much over the summer job thing though.
-i need to sell my car. if you know anyone who wants to buy a 94 ford tempo with about 60,000 miles on it at the end of the month for $1,500, let me know. my dad is putting new brakes on it and the inspection is up at the end of the month, so it will have a new inspection. thanks.
