other than my flight into pa getting canceled friday, last weekend was a ton of fun. flying in on saturday and out on sunday was a little stressful, but totally worth it. vanessa's sweet 16 and the jtp show were totally worth the trip. the only thing i didn't get to do is go to vegan treats, but my mom did get me a cookie crunch cheesecake for my birthday, so that was sweet. i don't have any plans of going home until august, and that trip is based on me getting a teaching job early enough, so i can quit my current job a few weeks before i start teaching. so we will see how that goes. in the mean time, if anyone wants to visit bucky and i in chicago, do it.
yesterday, i took a test on teaching(illinois specific), and i have NOOOO idea how i did. It was really long with multiple choice questions and 2 essays. i think that i did fine on the essays, but the multiple choice questions can suck it. i have to pass this test in order to keep my illinois license. i think i have one or two more chances to take the test before the DEADline.
in an effort to make me feel less bummed about the test i bought a 30gb ipod. i'm super excited about this because i spend over 10 hours a week on public transportation, but i'm really scared that i'm going to break it so i didn't even touch it yet! i think i will have bucky help me out with that one, since his ipod didn' break yet.
anyway, i have to go drink coffee, i'm not really awake yet...
