Ideas are like seeds.  Attention is like water.  The more a seed is nurtured, the more it grows.

Hence, the more attention given to the positives, the more they grow.  The same goes for the opposites.

Beliefs are like instruction manuals for interacting with the world, and attention is the pencil that writes them.

Things fit together in a specific way.  Sometimes they have to be rotated and placed in a way one is not used to.  But the pieces provided usually will fit together.  If they're not put together right, gaps appear and everything starts to pile up.  Too many gaps, too many holes and eventually the game is lost.  Make things mesh and fit together ( Read more... )
