I keep doing little things wrong. I blame the time change. I got a bit of a late start at 6:45. I like to be in the kitchen with coffee in hand by 6:30. Oh well.

I put twice as much butter in the muffins as I was supposed to. I will just call this the Julia Child school of baking. O_O I guess?

So far today I have made steel cut oats, hard boiled eggs, apple walnut muffins, and spinach lasagna. I'm started on the ratatoille and lentils provençal. I'm also going to make baklava because I bought too much phyllo and I want to see how much butter I can get into these folks before they pop.

But right now I am sitting on one of the red stools at the kitchen island and drinking a cold cafe au lait.

I'm worried my lamb isn't defrosted. It sat in the fridge for the last 24 hours and it's been sitting out since 9am. Pray for it to be defrosted by like 4:30pm. D: I still have no idea how to carve the suckers. :/ YOUTUBE HELP ME!
