(no subject)
So this weekend was officially one of the best I have had... in a very long time, if not ever. Friday was a short day of school, I had my nails done and got a pedicure for Prom.. which was nice. Been a while sicne I have had fake nails. Which is cause for all of the spelling mistakes. I am not going back to fix them, so w/e. dealll. heh.. I went to Jasons house that night, and we definitely had an interesting night. It seems as though we are not communicating enough, and definitely not spending enough time together. He talked about how hard it is for him to hear me so upset every night, and to hear about how I said I hate my life.. But at this point in time, if you havent guessed, I really am not happy. But I know things will get better soon, so I just keep going. So we went from one extreme to the other.. and yeah. love that boy.
Saturday was Prom. I woke up at 9ish and went and got my hair done. You can check my Myspace for pictures. :) I then hung out all day, not able to do anything with my gorgeous little updo. Did makeup and all that good getting ready stuff, and Jason came to pick me up around 4. We had lots of pictures taken at my house, and then Jason called his photographer, Marlon, and set up a special shoot just for us. So we got a free professional photo shoot. It was really nice of Marlon to do that for us, and I'm excited for good pictures. We then went to Jasons house, Jason's Grandma's assisted living home, and then to the Hyatt Compass Room for dinner. Jason's Grandma was so happy to see us, but she got a little confused and thought that we were getting married.. I dont know why I would be wearing red, but I guess only virgins wear white wedding dresses, right? lol. The view at the Compass Room was absolutely gorgeous. This restaurant spins 360 degrees every hour. So we watched the sunset fall over the city, as well as enjoyed the beautiful scenery. After dinner we had about an hour before we wanted to head off to Prom, so we went out onto the Terrace/Garden of the Hyatt Hotel. We hung out for a little while, and talked. We walked over to Prom around 830, and did a little bit of people watching. Prom was pretty fun, lots of "vertical sex". its all good though. the first time I really danced in a club was in Mexico.. so give me a break, I guess.. haha.
After Prom we went back to jasons house, surprisingly my mom let me stay at his house.. It was good times. It took me like half an hour to take my hair out, and then we.. hung out for a bit and ended up falling asleep. It was so comforting to wake up in the middle of the night and see him there. I remember waking up at 8 cuz I was freezing and he pulled the blanket up over my shoulders and tucked me in again.. We went out to breakfast at the Good Egg on my side of town, and then spent the day chillin with my parents. Well, my Mom and my Grandfather anyway. It was a lot of fun.
Just when I think that my life is really crappy, it gets really great again. Except for the fact, of course, that this gorgeous boyfriend of mine lives over 30 miles away. Thank you for being there for me, thank you for listening to me when I needed you to, and most of all, thank you for being a part of my life. It means the world to me that you are mine.
