For all of you who wish to make your own movie and get some poor editor to bang her head against the wall for hours on end, here are a few tips:

ESTABLISHING SHOTS
COLOR TIMING
DON'T CROSS THE LINE
COVERAGE

B ROLL
B ROLL
FRAMING

your editor does not want to have to massively color correct, try and fake establishing locations of characters within the room, flip over shots, crop everything, or try and create b roll out of the garbage taken while getting room tone.
Filters are good. they help the timing.
Kino Flos have several different types of bulbs. the ones that are blue on the end are color timed for 5600k, not 32. I want to scream.
when you have a group of people sitting in a circle, there are several ways to establish location. none of them includes exclusive extreme close ups of one character at a time, no establishing shot - not even enough wides or mediums to figure out who is sitting next to whom. Please don't do this to me.
I have many more helpful hints if you are interested, will probably add more as this project continues, no doubt at the dizzying pace of one plodding up the downward escalator.
