Anna wants me to update this more. So here is a recap of what I have been up to this summer.
1. I've been looking at colleges! I want to go out of state and have been requesting information from various far-reaching colleges, like in Hawaii and Vermont and New Mexico, but I haven't gotten much yet. I should probably narrow it down by the end of the summer. Also, I'm thinking I might take the ACT again just because I bet I could get a 36 on the English section, and a 25 on the math section, if I sleep a little better than I did when I took it in April. I figured out if I did that and got the same scores on everything else, I would get a 32. Awesome!
2. I've been socializing with friends! I occasionally invite people over or make visits or things like that. It's exciting. I'm not usually this sociable.
3. I went to Summerfest! Last night I went with Arpho and we saw Coheed for our fourth time. It was great, except for Chris Pennie's 7-minute drum solo. But everything else was awesome. A+ would see again.
4. I've been getting old! Every day I am one step closer to being 17. This means I need to start compiling a list of things I want for my birthday so that my parents, you know, know what to get me.
5. I've been seeking employment! I may or may not get a job at Culver's. I do have something worked out for a store downtown, but that won't start until August and even then it will probably be only on Sundays, so a more consistent source of income would be nice. I demand riches.
That said, my summer has been relatively exciting.
