So, I know I haven't been so good about the updating recently. And that's largely because during the one nighters, I'm too busy working or trying to remember the last time I showered or brushed my teeth to really do much else. And since we're deep in the throes of the "if they will pay, we will play" stretch of our schedule, we've been loading into a lot of venues that aren't really meant for a four truck show. Imagine smashing HSP into the Igey, and you'll have an idea of the last month. And during the week sit in Baltimore, it all caught up with me in a wicked cold, so I didn't feel much like doing anything except squeaking my way through the show and then going to bed. Our director, Matt, came out, freshly back from mounting the South African HSP, and (whew!) was really pleased with the state of things. So that's good. And I'm counting down the days until we're in EV. I'm excited for the hometown visit. And having my car for the day. And sleeping in my own bed for the day. And unloading some of my stuff so I don't have to take it all on an international flight home for Christmas. And such.
I'm tired.
I'm angry.
I'm frustrated.
Something's got to change.
