Called in to work. Pretty sure I'm getting a fever. My body is warmer than normal and my back is achy. (I usually don't get sick and when I do, it's rare that I have fevers, so it's a foreign feeling for me.) Thankfully, Jimmy the awesome manager talked to me, and he was totally understanding. He also encouraged me to call by Wednesday to check in since the schedule starts Wednesdays.
Thank GOODNESS it's fall break. It sucks to be sick on your days off, but it's even worse to make up all the work!
Why do I always fall ill in October? Hopefully, this will be gone by Halloween and I won't repeat last year, but still!
