I'm sure everyone who can see my wall-to-wall with Billy is quite annoyed because we've been squeeing over Facebook about it. I'm calling tomorrow after classes to schedule an interview. Omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg =D
I'm so thankful (and a bit guilty) because I know there are people who can't get hired anywhere. I complain about where I live, but it's actually sort of a recession-proof area. People are cutting costs, but it's not the massive unemployment that you hear about elsewhere. Sometimes, you just end up in the right place.
However, I emailed Dad today, and he replied and told me my stepmother has been laid off. My gut reaction was OH SHIT. She's much happier and docile when she's working, and she had been at her current job for several years now and was really getting her shit together. I mean, she was working in real estate, so she's probably been expecting it, but that doesn't make it much better.
I expect shit to hit the fan soon...
