I came home to good and bad mail.
The good mail was MY NANOWRIMO T-SHIRT. It is long, brown, and super sexy. (Quit your sniggering, you dirty minds.) The bad mail was a letter from Jostens about how they ordered a cap and gown for me anyway, but I now owe them $50 instead of $30.
And, you know, I would have paid them the $30 on time had my mom not been bitching about money the first time they came to school. I would have gotten it to them the second time they came to school had I not been out with strep throat. I would have gotten it to them the third time they came if I hadn't been in fucking Jamestown for four days.
I would to send them back a letter telling them to go FUCK themselves and to mail me the damn diploma. However, they did spell "disregard" as "disreguard" in the invoice they sent me, so I almost feel bad for them.
Anyway, today was oh-so-wonderful RECOMMENDATION DAY. I felt so old, seeing all those underclassmen running around with the sheets of paper that are really quite useless given that anyone can sign up for any class if their parents bitch at the guidance counselors long enough.
On the positive side of things, I am done with part 1 of Crime and Punishment. Only five to go!
