After some poking and prodding, it turns out my left ovary was swollen and I have the symptoms of an ovarian cyst. My doctor told me that cysts can be hormonal and cause weird a weird period but usually go away after menstruation. However, if the pain continues after my period, we'll schedule an ultrasound.

I agree. I didn't know about PCOS until I was diagnosed with it >:(

But, this is just a singular ovarian cyst, right? And not PCOS?

I hope that the doctors are right and that you feel better soon, babe. <3

yes ma'am. but again, if the pain doesn't go away after my period ends, I'll have an ultrasound.
and thankies, I'm feeling a lot better mentally now that I know. let's hope it all goes up from here! <3

Hmm, you should show this to a health teacher or something.
Seriously xD They do need to teach things like this. Gah people.

Mhm, she does. That's why when you first told me you had PCOS, I wasn't like WTF'S THAT?
And I'll see if like, I can suggest this to the county or whoever comes up with the health curriculum. We need to know this stuff!
