More lake dreams, stupid people, and Mariah Carey
Last night's dream:
I arrived at the lake with Alex's family at night. We were unpacking and I met a new cousin of Alex's who was going to room with Rachel, Tara, and me, meaning we were going to have to double up on both bed in the bunk bed room. I went swimming, and I happened upon a party that was happening on one of the beaches. Who happened to be there but BARAN! His family was having a reunion there, and the beach had been decorated with pretty lights. I swam out of the water and noticed Baran was separate from the group, and he told me they didn't like him.
Later, I ended up on a swing set with Patty's Kate, but I was directly behind her so her dress continually flew up and exposed her underwear. (???????????) She wasn't aware until our swinging became out of sync and I ran into her, making her aware of how close I was behind her. Then, this older woman whom I recognized but can't remember now came over to us and handed each of us part of a deck of cards that we were supposed to play Texas Hold 'Em with.
At that point, my alarm went off and I woke up.
I thought it was interesting.
The dipshit who rents our old house has been calling ALL FUCKING DAY. She doesn't understand the concept of voicemail and the fact that if she leaves a message, Mom can call her back LATER.
I really don't mind as much when people call while I'm awake, but she's been calling continuously since like, 8:30 AM. She's lucky I never picked up the phone in my sleepy stupor and screamed, "JUST LEAVE A FUCKING MESSAGE, YOU DUMBASS."
People are just so dumb. Ugh.
Sidenote, am I the only person who misses the old Mariah Carey? Like, you know, the stuff she put out before she became one of the background voices on rap sex songs? She was one of my favorite singers when I was wee, and now she's just like everyone else on the radio. It annoys me.
