it started out passionately...the film we watched in class on monday left me sobbing by the end. It was hardcore. I recommend it: Dancer in the Dark (Lars Von Trier, 2002). If you're a Bjork fan, for sure check it out!
Tuesday was all about the interview...face to face with Lynn from TD (finally!). I think it went well, she told me I would find out by Friday. The suspense is killing me! AUGH! Friday cannot come fast enough!
Wednesday, um, what did I do? Oh! Mom and I were doing errands most of the morning after my neuro appointment. We wer all over the city. Then I was trying to work on my essay, spent the evening with Den for a bit, then was waiting for Stef to pick me up to go to Guelph. She came by with Shawn at midnight...it turned into quite the late night. I think I was finally in bed at Kate's by 3.
Thursday! Went to the mall with Kate and her rommate Jenn. Then Kate went to class while I worked on my essay some more. Then Leah, Leah, and I went out for some afternoon breakfast (the best kind of breakfast there is! so satisfying.) and on to Canadian Tire and Zellers. blahblahblahoh yeah! Kate almost burned her house down making dinner! Yikes. On to the evening: my first time at the Ranch. It didn't even hurt. OK, friday morning hurt. Anyway. I remember a lot of limes, and some straws. Lots of rye and coke. In all, it was a good time.
Friday, headed home with Scott, and we JUST missed the major highway-closing snowstorm. It was pretty crazy. That evening there was a pizza party at Cobble that was pretty much a bust, not too many people showed up. Laur, Emily, Owen and I ditched early and headed bowling with the Koots, Bob, mom and dad, and Denis. We discovered that Fleetway is building an indoor mini-golf course, rock-climbing walls, and a massive ropes course. It looks like it will be really neat!
The rest of the weekend will be occupied by essay-writing. Yee-haw.
ps I am winking as I write this
