Our Chem is not fake, its kinetics, its life! -Jenny
Today was the busiest school day to the point that from 8 am to 4 pm I had no time to myself to even check my email. Before Chemistry lecture I was checking lab calculations with Jenny who is my new lab partner. Hazzah! Chem lecture was confusing as hell as usual and then directly to Anthro to be annoyed by all the anti-Hillary crap. I finally spoke up today because it was just going too far and my professor is very anti-science in that it only provides answers but it gives no meaning to those answers. Fuck him! After class I went directly to my anthro prof. office hours because we have a prospectus due in a few weeks and I’ve never written one before. We got a good conversation going and I found out that he is 30 but he doesn’t look 30 at all … total Toby Maguire. My research paper is going to address the hierarchy of society as described by Jane Austen. Hell yes! I was going to go a report on Japanese culture but then I realized that all the other art majors are going to attack that topic and I want to stand out. Then at noon I went to my bio lab TA office hours to make sure that I put together the presentation right which I didn’t. She was so nice and totally helped me improve it before I had to run off to Biology lecture which was awful. I promised myself that I would pay attention in that class but April had yet to finish her part of the presentation that we were to give in an hour. I really wonder what is going through her head sometimes. She and Rosa are driving me insane which I asked Anne (TA) about and she said that I should have a group talk with them to address the issue. *sigh* Easier said than done. The presentation went averagely well but there was plenty room for improvement. Afterwards Anne and I talked from practically an hour about lab and babysitting and talking to artistic friends. I was telling Anne about saying S. meteloti versus saying bacteria and she was like yeah I have an artistic group of friends that I hang out with too and you have to change the language significantly but it’s the same for any person with a specialized concentration. Oh man, talking to Anne was great. I was so stressed and I still am a bit but its not so bad. End of rant .. sorry for wasting ur time. I’m found that I’m much more productive as of late if I write and lj during the day. And have what I have been calling a Kaylin sandwich which composes of two parts Gideon and one part one piece in a sandwich format. Lol, I guess technically it’s a One Piece sandwich but sometimes it substituted with Fruits Basket … oh geez … time for dinner and then I’m totally going to attack my lab report that is due on Tuesday but I want Dr. Deming to look it over so I can do really well on it. Hit that finish line running!
