Dear me, where does all the time go?!  I've been meaning to come and write something here for at least a week but (quite obviously) didn't manage it.  Sorry folks but I feel a "one week in 4 paragraphs" type entry coming on..

Where to start.. Hmm, well this time last week I was about to leave for the cinema with
axeman2002 to see Tristan and Isolde.  I'd already been at school then done 2 hours at the vets, so was feeling pretty tired.  Mark kindly ignored this and forced me to join him on the dance machine for a short selection of "classic" Steps :P  All was good though as he only won by a few meagre points and we made it into the screen just as the lights went down.  Talk about perfect ;)
The film was very good; lots of sword-fighting coupled with some beautiful scenery, and it didn't feel like just another soppy love story.  I now want to get married on a hovercraft covered with twigs and candles, although that comment made a lot more sense at the time.. :P

Don't really remember much of the rest of the week *thinks*  Wednesday contained a lie-in, and a trip to the shops for bread which allowed me to visit Anisa (I had said I would, then forgotton about it, so we were both pleasantly surprised).
Thursday included a trip to town during which
pcek grew very bored as me and Mutti enthused over potential prom dresses, and muchos food was purchased for the weekend.
Friday was really rather dull until Biology when Debbie questioned me very loudly on the purpose of the human spleen, and how big it would be if removed (I didn't know for, as Ellie pointed out, "Shula isn't some sort of spleen expert").  Bradbury came to the rescue and the faint possibility of getting work done was entirely abandoned.
mischa_craven then abandoned our physics lesson in favour of some biro body art all over my hand and arm.  It was quite pretty, although when I tried to scrub it off on Saturday morning it was both difficult and painful :(

On Saturday my parents kindly left for the Lake District (depositing my sister at Grandma's) leaving me the house :D  Not being allowed a party, I had a small party during which a DVD was put on in the background, which they agreed to *rolls eyes*  Ned and K both came in time for Doctor Who (which I quite enjoyed, yay for K9!), and Emma & Souter turned up shortly after.
samegrazedknees and
maidenite arrived in time for Sooty, and Joe B came along too.  Hurrah.  Corpse Bride was watched/talked over and
axeman2002 turned up after all, complete with Kat.
Later on food was eaten, guitars were played, and I'm sure other things happened that I can't remember.  Muchos thanks to Kev for installing powertab for me, I spent most of last night playing White Stripes and Muse on my flute :D

The rest of the weekend was a bit of a blur to be honest.  Adam stayed over, and we spend Sunday lounging around watching films and eating.  Highlights included Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, Desperate Housewives, and Beauty and the Beast.  Highly nutritional food included breakfast twice, then pizza hut :P  Yummy yummy.  He went home about midday on Monday, and I actually did some work.
Family arrived home about 5.20pm, to find me still waiting for Giles (who was supposed to turn up at 5pm).  Turned out he'd lost track of time, which would be fair enough except that last week he forgot about me altogether and didn't come till 7pm!  I feel so unloved..
