Poppy!!!!
Poppy has had an accident :( Somehow the dew claw (is it still called that on a rabbit?) on one of her forelegs has.. well, come off.. It looks like it's just been pulled off rather than snapped, I have no idea how this could have happened. It's broken right at the base though, through the quick, and she just has this little bleeding stump :(
I held a cold flannel on, but it wouldn't stop bleeding. Dad gave me an antiseptic wipe, before helping to bandage it properly, and I put the old buster collar on her. Took about half an hour but the bandage came off, covered in blood. I took the collar off and she's been licking it, it seems to have stopped bleeding..
I'm just really worried, and scared, because it could get infected, or start bleeding again. Her inner-eye tissue looked pretty pale.. Also I don't know why it came off, what if another one did? And she was outside and we didn't know..
Help? Anyone? :'(
