He was a cynic...but he wasn't stupid.
"Well, I'll take y'all up on that, rest assured," he drawled with a smirk, "and ya may just get snag a few of my future settlement dollars...don't sweat it, Dollface, a sweet talker knows when he's bein' sweet talked, sugar." He paused, his smile growing. "But don't worry yerself...least yer honest 'bout gettin' yer hooks in me real early."

But it didn't tickle him like it should have. Come to think of it, there wasn't a whole lot that was registering with him at the moment. He figured he was still in shock...the truth of rescue would hit him later, he was sure.
And when that happened...he wanted to be alone.
Turning to both of his very attractive, very female butlers, he couldn't help but grin. "Amanda and Cora, hmm? Butlers?" He paused, glancing at Sam with a sly smile. "Now is that all s'posed t' be a euphemism, or are you really gonna have these pretty little things on the clock to cater to my every whim, authentic-like?"
