You pretty much know my thoughts on this. I think Jared is great. He's my friend, you are my friend. You are both great people. I honestly trust you both with my life...ok maybe you more than Jared, but anyway....

I would just see how things go the next few times we are in NYC, everyone seems to run into everyone there so I'm sure we will see him around more than we want to probably...hahaha

Sometimes I really don't think he gets things. I think he just has so much on his mind work wise that he doesn't process normal people thoughts at times.

What you and Jared have right now is something great (and there is something there)just let things fall into place, don't force or rush them. You found someone you are comfortable with and gets you. I think a lot of people wish they had just a little bit of that with the person they like.
