I'm single, so I know I'm technically not allowed to comment on this post, but I love you so I'm doing it anyway.

I think relationships do change you and especially how you look at yourself, but that doesn't necessarily mean all the change is coming from him. You still, somewhere in your head, have to make a decision to make changes in yourself. You are a fabulous person (just thought I'd confirm your beliefs!) and you deserve to feel that way about every little bit of yourself. So maybe you would have ended up right at this place right at this time anyway, or maybe he just nudged you awake.

Either way, you're happy and you're doing what's best for you and you deserve that and you know it and that's what matters.

And did I mention I love you?
