She is technically the Doctor's daughter - despite being created from a progenation machine. In a way more like a clone. When they first met the Doctor didn't know what to make of her. Along with the machine aging her up upon her birth, it also embedded in her mind a vast amount of military tactics. Being the pacifist, he didn't appreciate someone prone to violence being created from his DNA. But she most certainly proved herself, and now he does thinks of her as his daughter.

One of the Doctor's greatest enemies. An old friend from the Academy days, a sort of animosity grew between them as time wore on. While for the longest time, the Doctor was keen to accept things as they are- with the development of the Time War he's less inclined to desire the Master dead; if only because he's been led to believe that they are the last of their kind. With the knowledge that the Master isn't mentally stable, the Doctor seeks to help him in the vain hope that they can put the past behind them and try to start anew. Since finding each other in Luceti, they've gotten into the habit of being rather violent (well, the Master anyway) and forgetting what personal space is at times. And well, the Doctor still feels really bad for him dying. This will probably not end well. Mun is taking bets for how long it will take before angry!sex. Bets are to be made with food. :Db

Despite some major conflict in the beginning, the Doctor took Jack as a companion during his Ninth incarnation. Due to certain events that triggered the main cause of his regeneration, the Doctor abandoned Jack and that put a great deal of distance between them. Jack's immortality makes him a constant, a fact. Something Time Lords are instinctual to reject. Their relationship is a complicated one and forever will be - but despite the scientific garbage that likes to rear its ugly head, the Doctor does still consider Jack a friend. Since they've been stuck in the same place together for a considerable amount of time (especially for the Doctor - who really isn't used to following such a linear timeline) the two of them have gotten even closer. To the point where, well, things just got even more complicated.
*Note - any other relationships with other characters not present in the game up until "Waters of Mars" still apply. (Rose, Reinette, etc.)
