Last week Alex and I went down to Seattle to see Polar Bear Club. Whack show, but really good set. I was pretty obsessed with that bands demo and first EP a few years ago. It was really fun to see those songs live. Fun vibe.

I got a call last week sometime during the depths of my "working-at-the-theater" depression from Crazy Mike's Video asking me if I'd like to come back. Since then I've worked a couple of really fun shifts, but I'm bummed out I missed out on the summer there working with my friends who are not there anymore. However, it is the best feeling to be back. As much bitching as I did about working there, it just wasn't right not being there. I'm back in my domain. Newly remodeled and shit is nice too. I can't wait to not be as broke anymore with this dual job thing going as it is. Glad to be back, my life makes a tiny bit more sense now that I can literally sit on a counter top and watch Tremors or Jurassic Park for the billionth times and get paid for it. Thank you world.

I've been watching a lot of horror movies. Some really good (The Burning, Cannibal Holocaust both at Bobby Bobby's place on his projector) and some really awful (The Mother of Tears, Last House on the Beach, etc). Read all about them here:

It's freezing in my room all the time, and I need more blankets. Or for the radiator to actually work. Who the fuck invented the radiator by the way? Really, safest thing to think of is a hunk of fucking huge metal that just gets red hot? That's where they were at? Who decided this would be efficient and safe? Insanity.

I'm doing alright.
