Positive Attitude Yields Positive Results
Yesterday I began to realize that I am capable of anything. Today, I started to prove myself correct. I had my interview this morning with Hertz, later today, they called offering me a job.
It may not be the greatest job in the world, but its a good job, with a good company, and a great chance for me to learn a system, and quickly grow into a management position within that system.
Now considering that I have like 4 more interviews lined up for this week, that creates a bit of a problem in that I would like to see what other opportunities I have available, but it did not sound like Hertz wanted to wait to long to have me on my way to taking over the company. So I moved all my interviews up until Wednesday at the latest and I have to call Hertz back tomorrow, I will take the job, and go on my interviews and if a better offer comes along, I'll take it. But finally I have something real to smile about.
What a day. I even got to go on campus for a bit. My god how I miss it. And for once I am not even talking about the girls. Just the whole feel of campus put me in a great mood. There is very little that beats walking down campus singing along to The Beatles' "In My Life."
