So this was a very eventful week. Wednesday, mi madre left for a
doctor convention in Washington D.C. Wednesday night, Wes's mom
got hospitalized. Thursday, the doctors finally realized that she had a
stroke- a week ago. Well Friday Wes figured he should go see her and
see what the neurologist had to say. So I was an unofficial orphan.
Friday night I spent the night at Susan's house. It was okay, but its
just not the same when you're not in your own bed. Then we had the all
school tennis tourney, where I acquired a nice battle scar from diving
for volleys (thanks thomas) then Emily Morgan (whose aunt and uncle
were with blake in el paso) and i went to my house and got a
movie group together. At Logans, I paid for my share of the meal in
quarters and dimes. twas great. then we all saw Taxi, which was
hilarious. today in church my grandfather talked about his stroke and
all the good ways it helped him. I almost broke out crying because I
realized right then how selfish I had been all the times when I could
have visited him but instead went out with my friends. It made me
realize how short life was and how much I love living.
life is more than money
time was never money
time was never cash,
life
is still more than girls
life is more than hundred dollar bills
and oh
the town fills
life more than fame and rock and roll and thrills
all the
riches of the kings
and up in wills we got information in the information
age
but do we know what life is
outside of our conveinent Lexus
cages
she said he said live like no tomorrow
every moment that we
borrow
brings us closer to the God who's not short of cash
hey Bono i'm
glad you asked
life is still worth living, life is still worth living
Well i have a tennis lesson pretty soon so I'm gonna go and leave yall with some lyrics
I'm weak
it's true
I'm just scared to know the ending
do you see me too?
do you even know you met me
I've waited all my life to cross this line
to the only thing thats true
so I will not hide
its time to try
anything to be with you
all my life I've waited
this is true
