update:
Tuesday - Went to Best buy to get Ringers; Lord of the Fans, a new documentary on the fandom of Lord of the Rings, but Best buy didn't have that, but while there I got the new System of a Down album and Martin and Orloff, a funny little movie from the guys from Upright Citizens Brigade, the best sketch comedy show/group ever, Batman: Mask of the Phantasm, and some presents for christmas for my family. So then I headed to the mall in hopes of getting Ringers, but the dude at FYE never even heard of it. Wah wah. Next I checked Wal*Mart, nope, nothing. Grr. Stopped at Natures Table and got some tasty ass food, mmmm southwest club wrap.... ::drool::. Then headed home and watched my movies and some TV, decided to order Ringers from amazon, and figured while there I should get Twenty Bucks and Happiness since I can't seem to find them anywhere. That was around 3am. More TV, then eventually bed.
Wednesday - Sat around, played some Katamari Damacy, then Dan came over after work, we hung out a bit, the doorbell rang and somehow my shit from amazon was here already. It took like 16 hours to get to me, WTF, that is so cool, I'm really glad I decided against paying the extra money for one day shipping. Played some video games, then watched Lost, ANA LUCIA IS A BITCH, then headed out to Tobasko Joe's, this little bar in Cocoa. Met up with p0sta1 and caducusa, hung out, had some food, drank some crown, fun times.
Today - Woke up, watched TV, played Katamari Damacy, then over to my neighbors, Lorraine, for Thanksgiving. How boring. Me and my Dad pretty much hate her and her family and all, so me and him just sat on the patio bored, then we ate dinner. The turkey was dry, the green bean casserole was burnt, and the mashed potatoes weren't lumpy. No fun. The stuffing was great though. Anyways, my mom and Lorraine think they are the funniest people to walk the earth and told all these dumb ass stories during dinner, all of which start off "the most hilarious thing happened the other day...". One such story was that "last week, a few people.... let's say from cocoa...", she says, (i.e. they were black) "...were over at the park fishing with these big hats and really long fishing poles, I mean they were HUGE fishing poles, it was so funny, and they were catching fish left and right. Well, the first day there was like 3 of them, but the next day there was like 17 of them, and they were catching fish and putting them in a bucket to take home, so I called the Viera association board and I had them call the cops on them for trespassing". Um.... o...k.... where's the funny part? God I hate them. Anyways, eat eat eat, then sat around for like 2 hours before they served dessert. I wish I had brought my PSP, but oh well. My brother, his wife, and step daughter arrived, I got no hello, not one word was said actually, and I don't think his wife has said more than 5 word since I met her last Thanksgiving. Yet I'm still expected to buy her and her daughter birthday and christmas gifts. My brother didn't even SAY happy birthday to me, let alone get me something. Fuck that. Anyway, my Dad and I go home to let our dogs out and I wanted to get my PSP, and on the way out my brother mumbles "how's my video coming" I just rolled my eyes and told him I'd let him know, my Dad agrees that since my brothers been married he's become more and more of a dick. Fun times. Went home, let the dogs out, got the PSP, then headed back. I played some GTA, then ate some pie.
After dessert my Dad, Sister, and I headed home and played some board games. First was Lord of the Rings trivial pursuit. We played by "Steve's a huge geek" rules. Which means where you would normally have to answer 1 question I have to answer 3, and everyone else playing can describe the character or whatever if they don't know the proper name, this way it gives everyone else a chance, well, I still kicked everyones ass. Sad. Next was Scene It, yeah, won again, not even a challenge. Now I'm just sitting here, talking to people's and watching TV, soon, it will be time for more Katamari Damacy. I am so fucking addicted. I am also hungry for mashed potatoes, but we have none, we took no fucking left overs. Grrr. I WANT MASHED TATERS!!!
