Eh, kind of a stressful, aggrevating, fun, wierd weekend, read on....
Friday - Woke up, packed up my clothes, played and beat Batman: Rise of Sin Tzu then headed down to see my sassy_mollassey. Traffic sucked and it kept pouring on and off every few miles. WTF. Finally got there and we had to head to the mall because her and her Sister were getting pedicures. So while they did that I wondered around the mall. Finally they were done and we went to go to Moe's for dinner. As we were leaving Marie tells Jennie that she got all the stuff for the baptism of her child set up, and then says, all nonchalantly, "the only day we could schedule it was October 16th, so she'll share her baptism with Steve’s Birthday, isn't that cute", and of course that kind of upset Jennie, she can't both go to the baptism (which she has to because of she's the god mother) and spend my birthday with me. So then they got in a big fight about it and Marie told Jennie was being selfish, which is just ridiculous, it just really pissed me off because when she told Jennie when it was she said it like my birthday didn't matter and she seemed mad that Jennie was upset for having to possibly miss my birthday. So Marie makes Jennie look like the bad guy, like she's only thinking of herself, even though she did nothing wrong, Jennie has every right to be upset, but anyways, the whole thing blows up Marie is crying says she doesn’t even want to go to dinner now and to take her home, so we do that, then go back to Moe's and now Jennie doesn't want to eat and she's all upset and it all just sucks, I hate seeing her so sad and upset, especially when she did nothing wrong, but her sister does this all the time and then switches the blame to Jennie and she always believes she did wrong. And for everything that Jennie does for Marie and the baby, she deserves a lot better treatment. Turns out though my birthday is on a Sunday, so, yes, I'd like her to be here on my birthday, but I figure I'll party Friday and Saturday anyway, and she'll just have to leave early on my birthday, it kind of sucks, but I'll see her the rest of the weekend, so I can deal, I mean, it's not like it's a saturday which will fuck up all our plans. Anyway, after dinner we were supposed to go to Maries and play games, but that obviously wasn't going to happen, so we went home and watched Clue, which was a great movie, then bed time.
Saturday - Woke up and headed down to the far away mall to get Jennies glasses taken care of (she got some a while back that ended up having the wrong prescription in them). So we went back and she got her eye exam and she's filling out all this paper work and some guy in his mid 40's or so starts asking me all about my tattoos, where I got them, how long they took, etc etc etc, then started ranting about how the glasses don't have prices on them. Then Jennie gets called back for her eye exam and I went with her, and the Dr tells me "looks like it's standing room only" even though there was a seat at his desk, plus another seat on the side. Whatever, he did the eye exam, then came time for ordering frames and lenses and all, and then they tried to make her pay ANOTHER $200 or so to get the new lenses. She explained she got the lenses there and they were wrong, but the lady said they couldn't replace them because when she got them the prescription wasn't from there, which is even more fucked up, because Jennie wanted an eye test from there, but the doctor said she didn't need one as she had just had one a few months prior, and talked her out of it. So now she's paid for the lenses and frames that have the wrong prescription, plus a new eye exam and now is going to have to pay for another new set of lenses. And on top of that, even after Jennie was complaining about spending the extra money, the lady there was trying to get her to buy another pair of glasses "in case you want different colors". GAH!! So we finally just took the prescription and decided to shop around for cheaper lenses. After that we headed to EB. On our way there some dude is all yelling at us "sir, sir, excuse me, sir!!" and I figure it's just someone trying to sell us a new cell phone or shit, but he runs in front of us and is all "Dude... OMG" then point to my leg, "can I see that, I mean, wow, that is the coolest tattoo ever" (referring to my Back to the Future tat) then shakes my hand "That's just really impressive, I love it... are you a big fan?" Uh... what? Am I a big fan? No, I just got the tattoo on a dare. He says how cool it is again and then leaves, and we go into EB. Jennie decided to get a Gamecube. She got a used one for $60 and also got Mario Party 4, then we left. Her eyes had been dilated in the eye exam, so I had to drive her car home, no fun. We stopped at Publix and got stuff for the baby shower the next day and also got some subs for lunch, stopped at Blockbuster right quick to get gift cards for the baby shower game prizes, and as I'm walking out, this old guy in his 60's or so says my tattoos are very colorful, then comments to his wife about the Back to the Future one, how it's "a great movie", then we headed home.
We ate our lunch, and then I hooked up the Gamecube. I turn it on, and there's no sound, I fuck with it a bit, testing shit out, still no sound. Mother Fucker. So we have to head down to the mall again, luckily we could go to the closer one, so we go and exchange the Gamecube, then walk around a bit, then head home, as I'm getting in the car some 10 year old walking by says my tattoos are pretty, wtf? Got home, hooked up the Gamecube and all works fine. While playing I'm looking through the booklets and it's at this point I realize Mario Party 5 is missing. FUCK. I left it in the broken Gamecube. We were going out to the movies later, so we just had to leave early so we could pick it up. I'm retarded. So, back down to the mall, pick up the game, then met Marie and Greg at Cold Stone and got some ice cream, then went and saw Batman Begins again. Still kicks so much ass, god I love this movie. So, yep, I've seen it twice and mrfurious hasn't seen it once yet, and he calls himself a comic geek. SHAME. After the movie we were dead tired and went right to bed.

Not much to say here really, just hanging out, eating lots of food, then there was games, including the "putting a diaper on a water balloon (using safety pins)" and "beer chugging contest (from a baby bottle)", I almost won the last one, but it got to be all foamy and it's hard drinking from baby bottles, her Dad beat me by 30 seconds or so. Oh well. More food, then presents, then one of her relatives saw my tattoos which lead to a huge discussion of my tattoos between the 3 of them and I had to show them a bunch of my ink and answer questions and yadda yadda yadda. I don't know what it was about this weekend but it seems everyone all of a sudden noticed I have tattoos and had to discuss them like it's something weird. It's like West Palm had never seen tattoos before. Anyway, after the shower we went to Greg’s Dads house sat around, watched TV, ate more food, talked, etc etc etc. After a few hours we went home and watched TV and snoogled a bit, then Jennie fell asleep, I watched a bit more TV then passed out as well.
Monday - Woke up, packed up, and drove home. The drive home sucked, it took about 3 hours or so. About 10 miles north of Jennies exit there was a huge accident, like 10 cars, and the 3 lanes of I-95 were reduced to 1. So I got to sit there for a good 45 minutes or so. We finally get moving and 5 or s miles later we stop again. No accident this time, people just can’t drive I guess, and I sit there for another 20 minutes or so. After that though was smooth sailing. Got home, watched some TV, played some videogames and ate some dinner, and that's all I really did all day.
Today - I just woke up and did this. Not much else going on now, I think I'll watch a movie and play some more Destroy All Humans!. Out for now.
