somebody's hero

She's somebody's hero
A hero to her mother in a rockin' chair
She runs a brush through her silver hair
The envy of the nursing home
She drops by every afternoon
Feeds her mama with a spoon
And that smile lets her know
Her mother's smile lets her know
She's somebody's hero

This song made me cry when i heard it, and mainly this part of it, the part about old age and how everyday the girl had to go over and feed her mother (my case grandma) lunch and her hair was silver, my mom actually did my grandma's hair for her, and seeing my grandma's smile is something that I'll never forget. She really was somebody's hero.....she was my hero. I miss you grandma.
