AAHHGHG. Okayso, two days ago Lai bought Portal for me, a very cool puzzle game involving shooting portals and using them to navigate a complicated terrain. *envy*I wish i had a good enuff computer to get sick playing portal...the one i've got now is nine years old! Even Norton Antivirus can make if freeze for minutes .

Also: Garlic pills are really good at stopping nausea. You should be able to get them at any decent drug store reletively cheap(my dad gets seasick all the time).

The only game that ever gave me motion sickness was Sacrifice, a waaay old RTS game played in third person. I could never look at it for more than an hour, or I'd get queasy to no end.

What you might try is either changing the resolution or aspect ratio in the graphics settings to limit your field of view a bit, or turn motion blur off. The problem is most likely your brain processing all the falls and movements too vividly, and it's a common known problem for lots of people. Either way, I hope you manage to finish it because the ending is positively the best thing ever :D Portal got all sorts of people interested that didn't seem too involved in First Person games before. Valve did really well thar C:

I wound up laying off of Portal for a day (lul it was hard), and after that Lai actually played through the last level while I watched. :'3 For some reason, doing that didn't make me sick, so 's all good. I'll try doing what you say so I can mess around with re-playing some of it though, I've been wanting to. So thanks. <3
