(no subject)
so i know it's ridiculous to post twice in a night.
"if you know you suck and you just like to do it, then thats ok. but if you actually think you're good, then that's just embarrassing!" allison reflecting on american idol/the incident that just occurred prompting this entry.
so we just watched american idol, which i HATE by the way, and DANG a lot of people just suck at life...not to mention singing. and then a certain voice major who i happened to come across in my travels through the dorms (thankfully not my hall or i would've killed myself!) was practicing and i happened to overhear. this person couldn't match the pitch on the piano worth dog poop. holy crap! i thought i was gonna die laughing. allison, who was wandering with me said, "it's people like that who should be told that they suck before they get any farther and go on national television." i really think i found the next william hung. seriously, it was terrible.
speaking of terrible sounds that made me want to shrivel up and die, i was walking with allison through the music building, past all the practice rooms the other day. i heard this heinously horrible voice coming from a practice room. thinking it was joseph hill, i covered my ears and ran away. we walked back by that room later and i looked at the sign up sheet and was horrified to discover that the singer of suckiness was a friend of mine! AHHH! i guess according to the rules of allison, i should say something before they go on american idol or something ridiculous like that. but i can't. i'll just avoid the practice rooms in the music building from now on.
