Softball practice was excellent this morning-- a blast! 7 of us showed. Tomorrow morning (if it does not snow tonight) we are having another practice. It was sooooooooo gorgeous out today. Incredible. I got a bit burnt- not bad. We are giving each other nick names this season. We have Big D, Moose, Easy E... Big D calls me "Mouth", so that might end up being my name. Ha. I love nick names. We are going to have them put on the back of our jerzees. How fun! I am hoping ClayDog shows up in the morning. I actually call him Big Man, but ClayDog might be his softball name. He is like 7 feet tall and just big. He is awesome.
Work was so slow tonight, that I actually stayed upstairs most of the evening visiting with Kate. Finally, my boss was like, "Cindy, either clock out and visit or go downstairs and work..." ha ha... so, I clocked out and had a glass of vino. I am making kolaches tonight-- poppyseed and raspberry. I was going to lastnight, but I had no eggs. I hope they turn out better than before... and that people will eat them in the morning. Oh well, if they don't. I picked up a shift tomorrow evening. We have some party and one of our servers just stopped showing up for work (I will never understand how people do that...) anyway, I picked up his shift. I have Sunday and Monday off. I am going to church Sunday and then (depending on the weather), I was thinking of either baking all day or driving to Denver for the day. Sports Authority is having a 25% off sale, so I thought I might try to buy a new bat. Too bad the one I want is like $250... Maybe I will be able to find something good.
