Tea. I received tea on my doorstep. I ordered it a few days ago from my favorite source,
Culinary Teas. It's a great little website. Loose tea. Bagged tea. Lots of sizes, to try stuff or stock up on it. High quality stuff. Not overly costly.
My favorite type of tea is Darjeeling, but my favorite particular tea from this company is Indian Mocha Chai, a seriously dark tea with a nice, heavy flavor. And not overtly spicy, as chai goes. Different from any other tea I've had. And now a staple in my mighty cupboard of tea.
So I've got 3 big foil bags sitting beside me - 8 oz. of Indian Mocha Chai, 8 oz. of Assam Bukhial TGFOP (someday I'll learn about tea grades, & remember it) & 50 bags of Keemum Panda Grade 1. The loose tea is for home use. The bags are mostly for bringing to work.
Total cost? $28.87. Trust me, this is a lot of tea. I've been talking myself out of buying those small boxes of tea containing 16 or 20 bags for about $4 a box, awaiting this shipment. So, yes, today's news is tea.
