(It hadn't taken Roy long to figure out exactly how to use his Portal. Despite some of the more advanced aspects to it, it was easy enough to understand. His exploration of the device had been delayed, however, by the need to express his frustration upon his arrival--the remnants of which can be seen in the background behind Roy, as he turns the

I really wouldn't recommend "breaching the peace" here, Colonel. Try not to set more things on fire.

Fullmetal. You seem to be doing well.

So what's your hypothesis: are we stuck in a dream, an illusion, an actual city or -- and this is my personal favorite -- inside our heads?

Not to mention the so called King, Queen and Mr. Genero. Judging by the note left by this, "Exile," it seems this place has some sort of history. If the other three are the reasons for our arrivals, then they must have some need for us. What that is, however, remains to be seen. For now, it seems, we'll simply have to wait and see.

How would people who don't sleep [ which he hadn't realized were here or even existed; Mustang did his sleuthing, wow ] rule out an illusion or a figment of the imagination? Not that I think the illusion theory's anything short of bull, but --
[ And he holds up a middle finger; don't worry, Mustang, he's not flipping you off like an Englishman. ]
How do you explain The Exile's note next to our PORTALs if the royals are responsible for bringing us here?

There are many of us here from different places, as well as different times. If it were a figment of the imagination, or an illusion, then that would mean that all of us would be thinking up the exact same place, at the exact same time, with the exact same people, as well as with all of the same details. With all the differences between us, and the amount of people there are, that would be quite a difficult thing to accomplish, no matter how imaginative, or in tune, someone is.
(He pauses, allowing himself to get lost in his thoughts for a few minutes before continuing again.)As for the Exile, according to the information I received, it seems like people believe we've been here before, even if we don't have any recollection of it. If that's the case, then this whole situation must have been pre-planned. The name itself gives us enough information. An exile, therefore the royals do not trust them. That means they're acting on their own accord. If this was ( ... )

I thought this PORTAL thing was from them [ taps the screen a couple times ] but since Genero and The Exile both used it to contact us....
You see what I'm getting at?
[ What if they're in league? ]

If they're working together, then there would be no reason for The Exile to leave us this note. Unless they wish to gain our trust. No matter what the reason, it would still be best to keep their warning in mind, as well as be wary of who we trust here.
Tell me, what exactly did they say when they contacted everyone?

Yeah, yeah. It all just seems too convenient, you know?
[ He sighs. ]
But whatever. I'm not picking sides. There's gotta be a way to figure this out and get out of here without dealing with either of them.
[ ooc: I've gone this entire time thinking that every individual thread in The Exile's post is encrypted to that person, but uh, gonna make an OOC post asking about that. ]

"Important," huh? What was so important about them going home? What were they planning?)
I doubt they wouldn't get involved if we attempted to escape. After all, they seem to be quite adamant about our being here. For now, we'll simply have to continue to stay in the dark.
(He looks at the message once more before adding:)
Mr. Genero contacted you as well, correct?
(ooc: Oh, good to know...I always assumed the opposite.)

[ With a look of disgust, he sends Mustang Genero's post. ]
[ ooc: You might be right. I'll check. EITHER WAY -- if you're right, uh, Ed'll have overlooked stuff in his excitement. ]

(He opens up Genero's post.)
Don't tell me you actually believe we're stuck in our own heads?
(And he begins to read. His eyebrow raises slightly as he reaches the end of the post.
Well, well. This would come in handy.)

Well [ he thinks about this a little ] I was pretty convinced at the beginning, but some things don't add up anymore. Just... the mirrors keep throwing me off.
.... Something catch your attention?

(Just going to ignore that look, I am busy reading. And I'm done! With a smirk:)
Mr. Genero's post was certainly informative.
